Commission For Jesse And Kelli

I just finished these two paintings for twin sisters.  The paintings measure 36 x 48                                                             and feature a floral and peacock theme.

The painting features Dahlia's and branches from a Crepe Myrtle tree.  The peaches are also from the garden.  The vase is a malachite with nudes and the bright yellow Chinese opium jar really pops.   To the side is a Murano glass peacock.

The Blue Hibiscus is from my garden.  The Tiger Lily lives outside the gate so the cats don't eat              them.   The peacock is an old Czech light that is broken and beautiful.  The pitcher has peacock             eyes and the glass vase has peacock blue crystals.

Paintings From Laguna Beach

                                                          Rachel Uchizono Fine Art

This painting was painted en plein air.  You can tell by the sand showing in the oil paint.    Painted when I was last in Laguna.  The summer of 2019 when I did the Sawdust Festival.  This was        painted with my old gallery mate, Jim Wodark.

The turret in Victoria Beach was my favorite spot as a teenager. Next to the turret is a rock pool built to fill with ocean water at high tide  providing a wonderful place to swim.
