Feels Like Spring

UCHIZONO GALLERY
Lily arrangement in an antique center piece urn set in front of the church window in my studio.

RACHEL UCHIZONO FINE ART
It's a long painting.  48 x 24
The table is covered with a yellow sari.

Rachel Uchizono Fine Art
Large Hollyhock painting that I just finished.  I have an ornate gold frame that go well with this floral painting.

UCHIZONO GALLERY
I miss Laguna Beach.  Here is sunset at Heisler Park.  I will be back this summer to see my boys and
paint on location.  The Sawdust Festival may not happen this year.  I am anxious not knowing what the summer will be,
but I know I am not alone with that.   I have to remember to breath.  We should all take a deep breath.

Will There Be A 2020 Sawdust Festival?

UCHIZONO GALLERY
36 X 48 Hollyhock painting.  Larger painting of these tall flowers that grow like crazy in my backyard.  I have been told they are out house indicators. What an attractive way to locate an outhouse.    Lol

My favorite subject is the Laguna Canyon Wilderness Park.                                                        This is the staging area at El Toro and it is the view from the parking lot.
RACHEL UCHIZONO FINE ART
Heisler Park is a favorite place for Plein Air painters.  With so many different views, there are many paintings waiting
to be discovered.

RACHEL UCHIZONO FINE ART
Iris and the Opium Jar
The Flow Blue waste bowl and the green Chinese opium jar are
colorful subjects that find their way into my paintings.
I was looking forward to exhibiting at the summer 2020 Sawdust Festival, but I am not sure the
festivals will happen this year.  I hope everyone stays safe and that you all find everything you need to shelter in place.

Peacock Painting And Persimmons From The Garden

UCHIZONO GALLERY
36 X 24 Peacock in the garden.  I love the image of Chinese lanterns and the beautiful vivid colors of the peacock.
I have a taxidermy peacock and pose him in the garden.
UCHIZONO GALLERY
Blue Willow, Chinese lanterns and persimmons make me want to paint.  There is an unexpected addition
of a Hopi pot.  My persimmon tree bore fruit this Fall and serves as the inspiration for this painting.
